Taylor Engineering has been designing residential plats in the Inland Northwest for 20 years. In that time, we have platted thousands of lots and gained valuable cost-saving design skills and knowledge. Taylor Engineering, Inc. has designed residential single family and multi-family housing projects for more than 200 separate plats totaling over 10,000 dwelling units. TEI has worked with architectural firms on projects such as assisted living facilities, special care units, and retirement centers. Our civil design, surveying and landscape architecture has been instrumental in the successful incorporation of desired features in challenging site conditions such as hillside development, wetlands, rock outcrops, difficult arterial access, and existing structures.

TEI's Responsibility: We prepared a master plan and design the project, including all required reworking of the gravel pit site for ultimate residential/commercial uses. Included digital terrain model of before and after conditions to aid reviewers in visualizing how the site would appear in its revised venue. Studies were done for utility extensions, traffic mitigation, shorelines impact mitigation, potential inclusion of public recreational trail, and alternative land use options. Initial cost estimates were provided for owners' market feasibility analysis.

TEI's Responsibility: We assisted in preparing the master plan, designed the building pads and infrastructure and do construction management for the project. Included digital terrain model of before and after conditions to aid reviewers in visualizing how the site would appear in its developed condition. Studies were done for utility extensions, traffic mitigation; shorelines impact mitigation, inclusion of public recreational trail, and alternative land use options. Initial cost estimates were provided for owners' market feasibility analysis. The entry features a large storm water detention facility incorporated into a community park with walkways, benches and a waterfall feature. The entry also features a dramatic boulevard servicing the distinctly different neighborhoods within the project.
